Terra Nova’s compliance program is designed to align with the operational ramp-up of AI-driven farming initiatives. Certifications are not merely decorative credentials; each one unlocks a specific market channel for Namibia agricultural products, satisfies a buyer requirement, or provides lenders with auditable assurance for sustainable food production. The roadmap below illustrates the current status and target pathways across domestic, export, feed, and management system certifications.

Registration with the Namibian Agronomic Board is the baseline requirement for supplying controlled products, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, and butternut, to formal market channels. Terra Nova’s NAB registration encompasses local g.a.p. (local Good Agricultural Practices), PFA (Pest-Free Area) protocols, and compliance with the Market Share Promotion scheme, all of which are vital for promoting Namibia agricultural products. This registration acts as a regulatory moat that safeguards qualified domestic producers against import competition, ensuring sustainable food production through innovative methods, including AI-driven farming.

Export readiness for Namibia agricultural products requires the GLOBALG.A.P. certification suite: IFA (Integrated Farm Assurance) for primary production, PHA (Post-Harvest Assurance) for packhouse operations, GRASP (risk assessment on social practices including worker welfare), and SPRING (sustainable water management). These certifications not only support AI-driven farming practices but also satisfy EU, UAE, and broader international buyer requirements for fresh produce imports, ensuring a commitment to sustainable food production.

Lucerne feed pellets are produced under the GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance framework, which encompasses feed safety management, traceability, and HACCP-based controls. This certification is increasingly required by commercial feedlots, dairy operations, and agri-retail buyers in Namibia, who demand auditable feed safety documentation from their suppliers. As AI-driven farming practices gain traction, the emphasis on sustainable food production becomes vital in ensuring the quality of agricultural products.

Terra Nova targets four ISO management system certifications: ISO 22000 (food safety management), ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety). These certifications are implemented progressively as the operation scales, particularly in the context of AI-driven farming aimed at enhancing Namibia agricultural products and promoting sustainable food production. Achieving ISO certification provides the management infrastructure that institutional buyers and lenders require for long-term supply relationships.

All testing and verification for Namibia's agricultural products is conducted through ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories. In Namibia, accredited facilities include Analytical Lab Services, Industrial Lab Services, Namib Labs, and the NSI Testing Lab. Routine testing covers pesticide residue analysis (MRL compliance), microbiological screening, soil chemistry, and water quality, all of which are essential for AI-driven farming and sustainable food production. Results feed directly into the dMRV audit trail.
